A new promotion at Bell strategically enhances its quality, compliance, safety, and sustainability programs.

Bell is pleased to announce the promotion of Diego Darquea as Vice President, Global Flavors and Fragrances Quality, Compliance and Safety.  In this role, Diego will assume executive leadership to develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures ensuring quality, safety and integrity of organizational products and services and

In this position, Diego will oversee the organization’s Corporate Compliance and Sustainability programs providing global strategic direction and leadership to the Quality, Compliance and Safety functional heads.  Diego will lead and maintain accredited certifications such as SQF, FSSC, ISO, ECOVADIS, SEDEX and others to ensure ongoing compliance with international, federal and local food, chemical and occupational safety regulations through partnerships with government and regulatory agencies, such as FDA, USDA, DEA, OSHA and CODEX.

 

New position created in Bell’s Marketing team with a consumer insights focus.

Bell is excited to welcome Karen Holliday to the Marketing team, filling a new role of Market & Consumer Insights Managerresponsible for acquiring, managing, and disseminating key consumer behavior insights across the Bell organization. She will manage the development and execution of projects that support Bell’s key technologies, categories, customers and internal initiatives to drive business development efforts.

Karen’s role will utilize quantitative and qualitative methods of insight generation to integrate the voice of the consumer (VOC) into the development of consumer preferred flavors and fragrances both internally across Bell and will be the key source of consumer and market understanding working cross-functionally with R&D, Culinary, Sensory and Sales to develop and implement strategies for growing Bell’s market share in the flavor and fragrance industry.

 

Bell’s Beverages team looks a lot sweeter with a new Director of Beverage Applications

Bell is excited to welcome Vuk Levakov to the Applications Team and Bell family in a newly created position of Director of Beverage Applications.  He will lead the beverage applications team to foster creative and technical development of Bell’s beverage portfolio in the areas of flavor development, sugar reduction & enhancement, and mouthfeel enhancement.
