NY Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther Tours Bell Flavors & Fragrances
Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther was pleased to join members of the Bell Flavors & Fragrances Executive Leadership team on November 19th for a tour of their 87,000 square foot facility in the City of Middletown, NY.
During Assemblywoman Gunther’s visit she learned of Bell’s extensive history dating back 100 years. She also deconstructed a perfume designed especially for her alongside Bell’s business development executive, Pamela Angeles. “Learning the fundamentals and intricacies of all the components that need to come together when creating a fragrance enlightened her view and respect for the art of our industry,” commented Angeles.
The Assemblywoman then toured the plant meeting and greeting many of the employees who are constituents to her district followed by lunch with many of Bell’s management team.
In addition to the tour, Assemblywoman Gunther met privately with members of Bell’s leadership team and a member of IFRNA, the International Fragrance Association of North America to discuss legislative and regulatory issues that the company faces on a daily basis.
Bell strives to be as connected to not only the community but all members who represent the district. This ensures the longevity of Bell Flavors & Fragrances but more importantly the entire fragrance industry.
Bell Flavors and Fragrances is a worldwide company that creates flavors and fragrances for many of the food, beverage, cosmetic and personal care products that we use on a daily basis. The Middletown facility is one of Bell’s two manufacturing locations in North America, and employs over 50 people.
