Bell Flavors & Fragrances is excited to announce the recent hire of David Banks, Marketing Director, at their headquarters in Northbrook, IL.
David brings a comprehensive marketing background to Bell and has held numerous leadership roles in the consumer insight, market research, brand/product management, and innovation arenas in his twenty-five year career. He has been responsible for creating proprietary tools and approaches used to develop short/long term strategy, customer targeting, and sales forecasting initiatives with multiple CPG companies including Coors Brewing, Sara Lee and Meadwestvaco.
David has led the business and strategic development of category, brand and consumer platforms across the foodservice, retail, B2C, and B2B environments on both the agency and corporate sides of the business. David joins Bell most recently from the market research industry where he was VP of Global Strategy, Innovation and Food & Beverage at Aimpoint Research connecting consumer insights to the agriculture industry.
David has spent over ten years in flavor and fragrance working with Givaudan, Mane, and most recently at Kerry where he was Director of Market Research and Consumer Insights. His background has been grounded in partnering with fortune 500 companies and over 100 major brands leading ideation, branding and strategic sessions in the areas of new product development, culinary innovation, and other market research capacities launching multiple brands, products, technologies and ingredients. Many of these products have exceeded $100M in sales and are still on the shelves today.
