![]() Bell Announces 2010 Top Ten Fragrance Trends This year Bell Flavors and Fragrances’ perfumers and worldwide Marketing teams took a different approach in revealing the fragrance top ten list for 2010. They looked at trends in fashion, art, color, politics, and entertainment and came up with ten trends that influence the creation of a fragrance. This year instead of just analyzing what new fragrance notes or accords will be selected by designers, marketers and R&D; Bell’s Marketing group has matched these fashionable notes with consumer trends. The fragrance notes/accords listed reflect in-depth analysis of the cosmetic and consumer package goods market categories. The top ten fragrance list was tabulated through three methods. The first method was to track samples that have been requested over a 12 month period. The second method was “Trend Scouting” these fragrance notes/accords. This was performed by Bell’s Marketing and R&D departments from four continents. The third method was to compile fragrance trends that come from external resources, such as Mintel, the media and other credible sources. This information was then analyzed. Top Fragrance Note/Accord
